HALL OF FAME
Arangetram or Rangapravesha as the word suggests is the initiation or debut on stage of a student of Bharatnatyam. This is a old tradition of the art form wherein the Guru presents the student for his/her first solo performance. It takes approximately 7 years or more for a student to be ready to be presented at their Arangetram.
Arangetram is the beginning of an artist’s career as a dancer and traces its origin from the Devadasi period.
Sadhana Nrityalaya has presented 31 Arangetrams till today and is very proud of each one of them!
